In 2009 we started our first big bicycle and surfing trip across Indonesia. We were niaeve to take on such an ambitious adventure but in a sense that helped us. Not knowing how hard and challenging the trip would be was a blessing.

We took 6 or more months to prepare for the adventure. This involved saving money, sourcing equipment and then also trying to figure out how to produce and film this adventure. What would the outcome be? A documentary or single film? It ended up being a adventure reality tv show.
